I had long desired to visit Margaret River and when I did go a couple of months back it did not disappoint. My wife and I and some friends of ours stayed at Cape Lodge which was wonderful accommodation and had sensational settings. I thoroughly recommend going on the wine tour with Sean Blocksidge from The Margaret River Discovery Co., he is a great bloke and has a large range of knowledge about the area. I spent last weekend in New Zealand with my friend, seven time World of Outlaws Sprintcar Champion, Donny Schatz. He was racing at Western Springs Speedway which is based in the heart of Auckland. There was a large crowd and the facilities were fantastic. Auckland keeps surprising me with how modern and clean the city is. It is definitely a city which is well worth a visit.
