London Calling

I was in London over Christmas and it was a fantastic time to be over there, although there was no chance of a ‘White Christmas’ as it was very warm for that time of year, between 12-16 degrees every day.

Australians have a lot of affection and historic ties to the UK and London, the capital of the old empire, is a modern and bustling world-class city that has so much to offer visitors of all ages.

London is steeped in culture and history and as you get older you tend to appreciate the wonderful museums, galleries and architecture a lot more. It also has the vibrant nightlife, restaurants and attractions to entertain a younger crowd, drawn to the constant 24/7 action.

London is undoubtedly one of the ‘must-visit’ cities in the world and there is always something new to see or experience, no matter how many times you may have been. If you haven’t already been, put it on the top of your list.
